We have decided to share some travel goals with you, to give you some inspiration on where to go, what to experience and what to see during your holiday.
Time to plan your next getaway!
TRAVEL SOMEWHERE YOU HAVE NEVER VISITED BEFORE
It could be a town close-by, that you have never really thought about visiting (sometimes we tend to think that the further we go, the better is gets, which is not always true!)
or perhaps there is a restaurant you've read great reviews about and really would love to experience; a pristine beach with turquoise waters that you have seen on Instagram or a national park ranked as one of the country's best.
If you haven't traveled much, I would definitely suggest discovering places within your own country first, as it has many wonderful places/little towns/mesmerizing beaches/lush forests and much more.
ORGANIZE A ROAD TRIP WITH YOUR BEST FRIEND
Sometimes the things that aren't planned are always the best!
When you get a couple of days off, grab a friend or two (or more) and hit the road.
You can drive down south, explore small towns and look up any events happening in a particular destination. A tip is to travel during quite times, so you are more likely to find great accommodation at a cheaper rate!
SWITCH OFF YOUR PHONE
I know this might seem a "hard" thing to do, considering the vast majority of people can't give up their phone for too long. However give it a go for a day and see how you feel! Guaranteed you will have a much better time without technology, as you will appreciate more the place, company and atmosphere.
So many times I see people taking photos, without stopping for a minute or two to actually look at the scenery and take in its beauty. It is great to have photos, but it is equally important to fully live that moment too.
VISIT THE ANCIENT FORESTS AND PRISTINE BEACHES
When it comes to landscape extremes, Australia has a lot to offer!
This country has some of the most incredible and breathtaking places, from spectacular coastline that offers a huge variety of beaches (white sandy beaches that stretch for kilometers, turquoise waters, rocky beaches, deserted ones and so on) to ancient forests, that are a very important piece of our history, present and future and are home to so many beautiful birds and little animals.
WHEN IT COMES TO ACTIVITIES, TRY SOMETHING YOU'VE NEVER TRIED BEFORE
Extreme sports are not for everyone, so if you prefer keeping your adrenaline levels steady, why don't you attend a cooking class while visiting the region, or perhaps give yoga a go! There are also a lot of places where you can safely hike and be rewarded with breath-taking panoramas once you get to the top.
GET FESTIVE
Do a bit of research and find out what events/festivals are happening around you or in a particular destination.
One little tip: if you are traveling somewhere for or during a particular event, make sure you get in early and book your accommodation well in advance!
ENJOY IT
Wherever you go and whatever you do, make sure you fully enjoy the experience!
